Meeting Site
The 2008 Annual Meeting will be held at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
Pullman is located in southeastern Washington, approximately 8 miles east of Moscow, ID; 75 miles south of Spokane, WA; and approximately 125 miles north of Oregon. Driving directions are available from the nearest major cities.
Travel
Flying into Pullman
The Pullman Moscow Regional
Airport (PUW) is two miles from campus and is serviced by Horizon Air /
Alaska Airlines. Car rentals are available at the airport, as well as
local taxi services.
If you plan to fly in and out of Pullman, please book your flights early as the airplanes are small and fill quickly. The PSNA Annual Meeting will provide transportation to those arriving at the Pullman Airport as long as we are notified in advance. To arrange for transportation, please indicate your arrival and departure times when you register for on-campus lodging or email Paula Gibbs at molecular-plants@wsu.edu.
Flying into Lewiston, ID
The Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport (LWS) is approximately 35
miles from Pullman and is serviced by Horizon / Alaska and Delta Airlines.
Car rentals and taxis are available at the airport (the taxi fee is approximately
$60 each way).
Flying into Spokane, WA
The Spokane International Airport (GEG) is approximately 75 miles from
Pullman and is serviced by a number of major airlines. Car rentals are
available at the airport.
Driving
Driving time from Seattle is approximately five hours;
from Spokane, ninety minutes; and from Portland, six hours. Detailed
directions are also available.
Travel assistance
Travel awards are available for students who require assistance in order
to attend the meeting. Interested students should indicate that they would
like to be considered for an award when they register for
the meeting.
